Greg Sundby of Brights
Grove, Ontario, Canada, and Scott Wilson have been trying to
find those lost Canadian Mercury trucks.
The Canadian Mercury Truck Registry was formed in an effort
to begin the process of documenting the continued existence
of these rare trucks. The information, in itself, may be of
little value. But, in the future it may be of use to help
document the pedigree of certain vehicles or for vehicle
research. There are registries set up around the world for
most Marques. Since we are in the formative years of
developing the registry, we do not have the ability to do
much that is a "benefit" to you directly. That is, unless
you feel that being part of something that will be a major
historical resource for Mercury Truck Owner's in the future.
Currently we have just over 100 registrations. Some feel
that it enhances the value of their truck, or perhaps just
their pride in their truck, to say, "It's in the registry"
Others feel that being registered actually increases the
resale value of their vehicle.
We invite all that are willing to contribute or join to do
so. Any suggestions about what the registry could help you
with are welcome.
Please consider this an invitation to join us and include
your truck in the Canadian Mercury Truck Registry. Feel free
to contact us about any questions, concerns, or ideas you
have to share.
